IOTA has strong relationship not only with the OOCCGE member states, but also with the majority of sub Saharan French speaking countries.

Besides its involvement in the prevention of blindness, IOTA is part of a network bringing together : French Co-operation, European Union, WHO, NGO’s : TULIPE (Transfert d’Urgence de l’Industrie Pharmaceutique) OPC (Organisation pour la Prévention de la Cécité), Sight Savers International, CBM (Christoffel Blindenmission).
